If you are a parent or carer who has questions about the involvement of your child in our campaign activities or would like to support them to get involved, we hope this page will provide some answers. If you are a teacher or an adult who would like to show support for climate education, please sign and share our pledge below.
We have a range of procedures in place to make sure young people involved feel welcome, supported and safe. We have a buddy scheme, student staff and existing volunteers are available for support, and parents/carers are encouraged to join their child when meeting parliamentary candidates. Our host charity, SOS-UK manages our safeguarding, including all young people aged 18+ being required to have DBS check and all under 18s having parental permission to join our online spaces. If you have any concerns or questions regarding the safety and safeguarding of our campaign, please contact the SOS-UK core staff overseeing this.
