Candidate's Responses

  1. Do you support the integration of climate change throughout every subject?

I do not support this initiative. Schooling should be focussed on preparing young people to think critically not telling them what to think but how! This topic needs to be confined to particular subjects such as geography for instance.
  2. Do you support the teaching on solutions for climate change, as well as the causes and impacts?

Yes but only confined to particular topics and taught with all the information provided including studies that do not support the claim that the climate is in danger of being destroyed through human agency. The danger of teaching this is that it is normally taught with great bias and does nothing more than instil fear in young people.
  3. Do they support more training for all teachers around the climate crisis?

This is the whole issue, is there a climate crisis? The fact that you have phrased your question in this way I would say no!
  4. Do they support more money being spent to upgrade schools so they are carbon neutral?

Definitely not, this is a waste of resources, more books, better qualified teachers, lower student-teacher ratio, and better technical facilities (computers) would contribute much more to better educational outcomes for students.
  5. Do they support more green skills being taught in job-related education?

No yet again a waste of resources. I do agree that younger people to need to be taught to respect their surrounding for instance littering is a perfect example, and not be wasteful in the vernacular.
