Candidate's Responses

  1. Do you support the integration of climate change throughout every subject?

This topic has been woefully ignored for many years and this will be a good way to get this shared with children during their time at school.
  2. Do you support the teaching on solutions for climate change, as well as the causes and impacts?

yes, we all need to understand this terminology and what we can do as families and individuals to address the greatest crisis in our world.
  3. Do they support more training for all teachers around the climate crisis?

Yes, teachers can share this with children, they are thought leaders in many communities.
  4. Do they support more money being spent to upgrade schools so they are carbon neutral?

yes, schools have been allowed to become very poorly insulated and much money is wasted on heat going out of classrooms and temporary buildings.
  5. Do they support more green skills being taught in job-related education?

Future jobs will need to be more green focussed and this is an area of growth for employment.
