Candidate's Responses

  1. Do you support the integration of climate change throughout every subject?

Yes I think that children learn better when subjects are integrated with real world issues and what better issue to use than the potential destruction of our world
  2. Do you support the teaching on solutions for climate change, as well as the causes and impacts?

Yes. The children are the ones that will suffer the most from climate change and if we don't tell them what's happening they have no chance
  3. Do they support more training for all teachers around the climate crisis?

Yes. Though at the teachers own pace as they are incredibly overstretched as it is.
  4. Do they support more money being spent to upgrade schools so they are carbon neutral?

    Of course. No explanation needed.
  5. Do they support more green skills being taught in job-related education?

Yes. We need people to rewild and reforest the country as well as build our green energy infrastructure
