Retraining Revolution

Earlier this week, on Monday 28th June, it has been reported that Chancellor Rishi Sunak hasrequested advice from every governmental departmentas to how to best support a "retraining revolution."

Never one to fall short of taking an opportunity to support the government in education system reform, we promptly got in contact with two of our largest supporting organisations- the Association of Colleges and the University and College Union. Together we compiled some research and posed a united front - as three of the most influential organisations in this sector - and directed our thoughts towards the Minister for Apprenticeships and Skills (Gillian Keegan MP) as well as many other associated cabinet members in the form of a letter. This made the case for investment in green vocational skills.

As a student-led campaign, we are used to not receiving any replies in response to our communications, so we aren't holding our breath for this letter, however, we do really hope that the government read and consider our proposal profusely, as this could very well be the futures of young people across across the nation.
