We believe young people below voting age (under 16) still have a huge influence over the general election through their parents and carers (pester power!). By signing this petition, parents and carers show their support for the Teach the Future campaign, and willingness to use their vote in the next general election to advocate for their child's right to a climate education.
Young people all over the UK can get involved. We will provide training, guidance, resources and templates to meet with your local parliamentary candidates and score them on climate education.
We have resources available for those who want to get stuck-in straight away, but are equally able to offer an onboarding session and chance to speak with Teach the Future students if you need more support.
