Where would we be without you?

We are so delighted to have hit the £4,000 crowdfunder target in 48hrs! Thank you for making that happen. We are overwhelmed by all your support and so heartened by the messages coming in from fellow students, educators, parents, grandparents, and many other supporters!

So what does this mean?

Your support has meant that we can now organise a parliamentary reception to take place in the new year. By doing this, we will engage both new and returning MPs in our campaign and get our policy proposals in front of them - we will make sure that our voices are heard loud and clear.

Where would we be without you?

We are so grateful for all your support - without you, none of this would be possible.

How can we thank you?

The average donation so far has been £16.24 with many, many of you donating £2, £5, and £10 - thank you so much. This has clearly all added up! For those of you who have been able/kind enough to donate in larger figures, we are offering rewards. By donating £50 or more, we’ll send you a free, reusable water bottle branded with the SOS-UK logo. If you donate over £100, you’ll be invited to come and join us at the parliamentary reception in the new year. By donating over £250, you’ll receive a visit from one of us! We can come and visit you - whether that be your school, business or other organisation and speak about the Teach the Future campaign.

What now?

We are getting busy preparing for the parliamentary reception - we have already reached out to potential sponsors in parliament and are organising the guest list of MPs and other key stakeholders. But we still need your help! You'll see that our stretch target is set at £10,000. If we are able to raise an additional £6,000 we can hire a part-time campaigner for 6 months to help with outreach to politicians and to accelerate the impact of Teach the Future. If you are able to keep donating and sharing with your friends and family we would really appreciate it!

Thank you!
