Our Letter to Nicola Sturgeon

Updated: Jul 14

Yesterday, Teach the Future Scotland sent a letter to Nicola Sturgeon, the First Minister of Scotland.

The decision to send this came following our lack of response to our initial communications with John Swinney, the Cabinet Secretary for Education and

Skills.

Included in this letter was how we believe that the Scottish education system has been misaligned from the systemic changes urgently required to make our communities, and society in general, sustainable as well as just. Additionally, we stated how we feel our asks could address some of the largest issues present within schooling in our nation

It was signed by 3 of our student campaigners - Anna Brown, Tess Corcoran and myself
